Nestlé Business Services Lisbon is one of the eight, in total, Nestlé Global Business Shared Service centers. Altogether, we have 3500 employees working for the centers who are spread across the globe in: Brazil (Ribeirão Preto), Philippines (Manila), Egypt (Cairo), Ukraine (L'viv), Ghana (Accra), Portugal (Lisbon), South Africa (Gurugram) & Paraguay (Asuncion). More than 370 of those employees, from more than 30 nationalities work for us in Nestlé Business Services Lisbon (established in 2017) & approximately 20 have global roles, based out of Lisbon.Having the same purpose as Nestlé “Enhancing quality of life and contributing to a healthier future”, our commitment is to deliver world class business services to leverage Nestlé´s size and capabilities for competitive advantage, to win in the marketplace. Together we have achieved 27 million vendor invoices processed both for Europe and Americas, more then 1 million claims/disputes and deductions managed, 200,000 customer collections contacts, 400,00 general ledger journal vouchers posted, 500,00 general ledger accounts reconciliations performed, more then 5 million customer payments applied and more then 2 million vendor and employee reimbursement queries handled. This way we can bring value to consumers and customers.
Each of the centers deliver total service quality (TSQ) through partnership for improvement with businesses and functions, economies of scale and competitive through specialization, standardization and automation, flexible and market centric network world-wide business services in specific areas, which consistently meet quality requirements.
Our services in Lisbon are focused in the areas of Finance & Control (Known as Order to Cash), Supply Chain & Procurement (Known as Source to pay), as well as Digital & Social Media Marketing (Known as Digital and Social Media). The number of functional languages required is 11 & include: Portuguese, English, Spanish, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, French, Dutch, Italian & German, where English is a mandatory language.
